हैंस क्रिश्चियन ग्रैम (Hans Christian Gram)  ने 1884 में एक जर्नल में ग्रैम-पॉज़िटिव (Gram- positive) और ग्रैम नेगेटिव (Gram-negative) नाम से अपनी खोज को पब्लिश किया. साथ ही बताया कि ग्रैम पॉज़िटिव बैक्टिरिया (Gram-Positive Bacteria) माइक्रोस्कोप (Microscope) से पर्पल कलर का दिखा, क्योंकि सेल की लेयर काफी मोटी थी जिस वजह से वो घुल नहीं पाई. वहीं, ग्रैम नेगेटिव बैक्टिरिया (Gram-Negative Bacteria) की सेल काफी पतले थे, जिस वजह से वो घुल पाए.   क्रिस्टियान ग्राम का जन्म 13 सितंबर 1853 में डेनमार्क में हुआ था। उनकी मौत के आठ दशक बाद तक ग्राम मेथड का प्रयोग किया जाता है। आज भी माइक्रोबयॉलजी की दुनिया में उनके योगदान को लोग याद करते हैं। अपनी एमडी पूरी करने के बाद उन्होंने शहर के म्यूनिसिपल हॉस्पिटल में रेजिडेंट फिजीशियन के तौर पर काम किया। उन्होंने मा इक्रोस्कोप से बैक्टीरिया (Bacteria) का पता लगाने वाली खास तकनीक की खोज 1884 में की थी. हैंस क्रिश्चियन ग्रैम (Hans Christian Gram) ने साल 1878 में कोपेनहैगन यूनिवर्सिटी से डॉक्टर ऑफ मेडिसिन की डिग्री हासिल की. इ...
